Hexaconazole

Hexaconazole is a systemic triazole fungicide widely used for its effective control of fungal diseases in crops such as rice, fruits, vegetables, and ornamentals.

Features:

  • Provides both curative and preventive control of fungal diseases.
  • Exhibits high systemic activity and prolonged residual protection.
  • Low mammalian toxicity ensures excellent crop safety.

Target Pests:
Targets fungal pathogens causing rice blast, sheath blight, and leaf spot diseases.

Crops:
Used on rice, fruits, vegetables, and ornamentals.

Mode of Action:
Hexaconazole inhibits lanosterol 14α-demethylase, disrupting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes.

Dosage:
Typical application rates range from 0.5 to 2.0 L/ha.

Common Formulations:
Available as emulsifiable concentrates (EC), wettable powders (WP), and seed treatments.

Major Combinations:
Hexaconazole is often combined with:

  • Other Fungicides (e.g., Propiconazole): to broaden the spectrum of control.
  • Adjuvants: such as spreaders to enhance foliar uptake and distribution.
  • Synergistic Agents: that further improve systemic efficacy and delay resistance. We offer custom formulations and combinations as per customer requirements.
